I read a post recently at Sethgodin.typepad.com (CLICK HERE TO READ) and I loved Seth’s concept and the way he worded it was too good not to share:
Happiness, for most of us, is a choice. Reality is not. It seems, though, that choosing to be happy ends up changing the reality that we keep track of.
Happiness is an inside job. You make your own reality, and your eyes perceive the world differently based on your experiences and your attitude.
Most mornings, I wake up singing cute little rhymes… I dance around the house with no music… and I hug and kiss my pets so much they shouldn’t have a patch of fur or feather left on their cute little heads. You maintain your happiness just like you maintain anything else… let the maintenance lag a little and you will notice. So that leads to the question: What do you do to put a smile on your face every day?
