A “Website Back-Up” service is hitting website owner’s mailboxes and it arrives as a bill. Do not pay it unless you have sought out this company for their services.
It is a legit service, however their approach in tricking non-customers into purchasing their service is inappropriate. Below you can see a sample of the bill some website owners are receiving.
If you ever need to see references to previous versions of your website, there is a free service for that. You can always visit www.waybackmachine.com to review archives or your website. Often all you will have access to is old content, but in some cases that can be very helpful.
